Raiders shut out Foresters 3-0

The MSOE women's soccer team received goals from their top three scorers to beat Lake Forest 3-0 Thursday night at Time Warner Cable Stadium in Milwaukee. Junior goalie Emma Lumpe made three saves to record the shutout.
All-time leading NAC goal scorer and current national goals per game leader senior Jessica Axt started the scoring with a goal from senior Mindy Donald in the eighth minute. In the second half, sophomore Paula Bohl scored an unassisted goal at the 66:39 mark of the game to make it 2-0 Raiders. Freshman Gabbie Pung finished the scoring in the 85th minute. Pung's goal was assisted by Axt.
MSOE (8-4, 5-1 NAC) faces cross town foe Alverno Saturday at 3 p.m. on the road to decide the winner of the Red Rivalry Cup which will be presented for the first time for women's soccer.
