MSOE men's soccer edges Benedictine in NAC First Round

Senior Dan Hosko scored two goals as the Raiders defeated Benedictine 2-1 Saturday evening at Time Warner Cable Stadium in Milwaukee as MSOE took the Northern Athletics Conference Tournament First Round game. Hosko scored the game-winning goal in the 89th minute as he was successful on a penalty kick.
Hosko first gave the Raiders the lead at the 38:26 mark of the game when he was set up by senior Santiago Onuchuku and junior Brad Meissner. The Eagles tied the game in the 63rd minute and the score remained deadlocked until Hosko's winner. Freshman goalkeeper Garrett Farin made four saves in the win for MSOE.
The Raiders (11-7-1) will head to Mequon, Wis. Tuesday at 3 p.m. to face Concordia-Wisconsin in the semifinals of the NAC Tournament.
