Raiders participate in Milwaukee River Challenge

The MSOE rowing team competed in the Milwaukee River Challenge Saturday which had the most competitors and spectators in the history of the event. The men's 8+ boat for the Raiders placed second behind Purdue. MSOE was less than eight seconds in back of the Boilermakers. The lineup for that boat included Rachel Connon (coxswain), Jonathan Allen (stroke seat), Ben Lang, Devin Dolby, Dave Taylor, Erik Winer, Matthew Foster, Michael Richter and Luke Engebretson (bow seat).
In the 4+ race, the Raiders finished eighth with a time of 18:58.40. MSOE's lineup for that boat was Chelsey Morrow (coxswain), Ed Adams (stroke seat), Mike Dorus, Tim Urbas and Dominic Frost (bow seat). Click here for full results from the event.
The Raiders are back in action at the Tail of the Fox Regatta Sunday, Oct. 2 in De Pere, Wis.
