Men’s Soccer host playoff game October 28, 2pm

The MSOE men’s soccer team will host a first round Northern Athletics Conference playoff game on Sunday, October 28 at Time Warner Stadium, 7101 W. Good Hope Road, Milwaukee, Wis. against the fifth seed, Edgewood College. Kickoff is set for 2pm.
MSOE (8-2-1) tied for second in the Northern Athletic Conference standings along with Aurora University and Concordia-Wisconsin with identical records. Aurora was deemed the second seed due to a better head –to-head record against the two opponents. MSOE fell to the fourth seed after tying with Concordia-Wisconsin in six tie breaking criteria and then losing a coin toss, conducted by Commissioner G. Steven Larson.
The other first round pairing pits Wisconsin Lutheran, the sixth seed against #3 Concordia-Wisconsin, also on Sunday afternoon. The lowest advancing seed of the first round games will face #1 seed Dominican University on Wednesday, Oct. 31st at 2p.m., while the highest remaining first round seed will play at #2 Aurora University at 1:30p.m. The championship game will be played on Saturday November 3 at the highest remaining seed. The winner will receive the NAC automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Men’s Soccer Championship Tournament.
