MSOE’s Hasler and Hendricks Receives Post Season Accolades in Women’s Volleyball

The MSOE women’s volleyball team had two student-athletes receive Northern Athletics Conference post season honors.  Senior outside hitter Stephanie Hasler was an honorable mention selection, While Leah Hendricks was tabbed to the conference ALL Freshman Team.

#9 Stephanie Hasler (Sheboygan Falls, Wis./ Sheboygan Falls High School), has played opposite and setter for the Raiders in 2012, but became a mainstay on the outside early in the season. A 5-9 senior, Hasler played in 17 matches and 61 sets, totaling 176 kills and a 2.89 kill per set average. She also added 44 assists, 17 service aces, 198 digs and 16 total blocks to her career totals. Hasler had 202 points on the season.

#17 Leah Hendricks (De Pere, Wis./West De Pere HS) filled the role as opposite hitter well in her first year at MSOE, leading the team with 189 kills, in 22 matches and 77 sets played. She averaged 2.36 kills per set and had 23 service aces, 46 digs, 46 total blocks and 232 points for the year.

MSOE finished the season with a 6-17 overall record, 3-9 in Northern Athletics Conference play.
