MSOE comes up short against Wisconsin Lutheran

The MSOE baseball team fell to Wisconsin Lutheran in both ends of a doubleheader Saturday in Milwaukee. The Raiders lost 11-1 in the first game and the Warriors won 6-3 in the finale.
Sophomores David Miklosi, Adam Vlaj and Maxwell Poeske each had two hits in the opening game with Vlaj logging a triple. Sophomore pitcher Lucas Yogerst gave up five runs in the 6 1/3 innings of work.
In the other game, junior Wes Stasik was 2-5 with a RBI double. Senior Michael Ricciardi had two hits as well. Junior Michael Bergstrom threw 4 2/3 innings in relief and gave up three runs.
MSOE hosts Concordia-Wisconsin Monday at 12 p.m. at Henry Aaron Field in Milwaukee.
