Senior Emily Dieringer was named Northern Athletics Conference Student-Athlete of the Week for indoor track & field. This is the third time that Dieringer has earned the weekly honor this year.
Dieringer set a new MSOE record in the 55-meter hurdles Saturday at the UW-Parkside Classic. She placed first in the event with a time of 8.78 seconds. Dieringer broke Catherine Chappell's mark set in 2008. Also at last Saturday's meet, Dieringer was second in the 200-meter dash at 27.32 seconds and third in the pole vault with a mark of 3.05 meters.
The Raiders will compete in the UW-Platteville Invite this Saturday.
