Women’s Soccer Players Net All Conference Honors

The MSOE women’s soccer team, had a total of five student-athletes garner conference awards, announced by the Northern Athletics Conference today. Leading the way on the first team was junior forward Paula Bohl and senior goalkeeper Emma Lumpe.
This is Bohl’s third conference award in as many seasons. She is ranked nationally in several categories including game winning goals (4, 47th) total assists (8, 57th) and total points (32, 56th).
Lumpe has played and started in 20 games, with a total of 86 saves for the season and 1.37 goals against average, with a total of 1644:44 minutes played. In NAC contests, her Goals against Average dropped to 1.12 in 962:15 minutes played, starting in all twelve conference tilts. She is also ranked 15th in the nation in goalie minutes played. Last year, she was an honorable mention selection.
Joining Bohl and Lumpe with NAC honors is second team selection Caitlyn Liddiard. Liddiard, a freshman forward 13 goals and 7 assists totaling 33 points for the season. She is ranked nationally in game winning goals (4, 47th) and total points (33, 47th).
MSOE fared well on the NAC All Freshman team, having three named to the list. Second team Liddiard was joined by midfielder Natalie Gayner and midfield Anna O’Donnell. Gayner has nine goals and nine assists on the year and was also a NAC honorable mention selection. O’Donnell started in all 20 games played, scoring six goals and adding five assists on the year.
The Raiders are alive in the NAC playoffs, facing number one seed Aurora University on Tuesday, October 30. Game time is set for 1:00p.m.
