Cayo's 29 points not enough against Rockford on Senior Night

Senior center Carol Cayo scored a season-high 29 points and grabbed ten rebounds on Senior Night but the Raiders lost to Rockford 52-44 Wednesday night at the Kern Center in Northern Athletics Conference action. Cayo now has 14 double-doubles on the season.
Also, Cayo had four steals and blocked two shots. No other MSOE player had more than four points on the night. The Raiders trailed the entire game. MSOE pulled within one at 39-38 with 7:42 left in the contest but couldn't tie the game.
The Raiders (15-9, 11-6 NAC) host Lakeland Saturday at 2 p.m. in the NAC Challenge. MSOE will host a NAC Tournament Quarterfinal game Wednesday at 7 p.m.
