Men’s Cross Country wins Wisconsin Private School Invitational

Beloit,Wis. – On the legs of the Raide’rs number four and five runners, the MSOE men’s cross country team held off three Northern Athletic Conference schools to win the Wisconsin Private Schools Invitational. The Raiders won the meet with 66 points, followed by Concordia-Wisconsin (73), Edgewood (85) and Wisconsin Lutheran (113).
MSOE ran a team-like race with their number four runner on the day, Ben Miller (27:58.19, 19th place), and number five finisher Ben Peterson (28:03.00, 21st) placing high enough in the standings to lift the Raiders to a win. MSOE’s lead scorer was Trevor Koziczkowski finishing third with a time of 26:44.78 over the eight kilometer course at Lesson Park in Beloit Wisconsin. Other Raiders scorers include Jake Schneider 27:06.99, 10th) and Brian Janus (27:39.36, 13th).
