MSOE Hockey takes down Bethel 4-1

Freshman forward Cody Gancher scored twice in the second period and freshman goalie Nick Kohn made 21 saves as the Raiders defeated Bethel 4-1 Friday night at the Kern Center in Milwaukee.
MSOE (4-3) got the scoring going in the first period at the 7:40 mark when senior forward Bradley Tierney scored an even strength goal. Later in the period, senior forward Jordan Keizer found the back of the net on a power play.
In the second, Gancher scored at the 5:24 mark and again about ten minutes later on a power play situation. The Royals' lone goal was netted by Colin Mayer late in the second with a two-man advantage.
The same two teams will play Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Kern Center.
