Junior forward Jordan Keizer recorded two goals and an assist and senior goalie Connor Toomey made 27 saves as the No. 10 Raiders shut out Northland 3-0 in Ashland, Wis. Toomey now has ten shutouts in his career which extends his MSOE record which he set last weekend.
Jordan Keizer started the scoring at the 8:30 mark of the first period with a tally set up by freshman defenseman Logan Bauman and junior defenseman Nathan Brunk. Less than four minutes later, Jordan Keizer scored again from Logan Bauman and freshman forward Josh Keizer. After a scoreless second, freshman forward Cole Gibson had a power play goal. Assists on that score came from sophomore defenseman Devin Schmitt and Jordan Keizer.
The Raiders (18-5-1, 15-3-1 MCHA) play the Lumberjacks Saturday at 3:05 p.m. again on the road for their final game of the regular season.
