Men’s Basketball wins Ballenger Tournament

Westerville, Ohio – Jaren Singh had 12 points and five rebounds leading the Raiders to a 52-44 victory over Trine University in the championship game of the Smokey Ballenger Tournament.Down 42-40 with 2:28 left in the game, John Cording hit a three to start the Raiders on a 12-2 run. MSOE went 9-for-10 from the free throw line in the last two minutes of the game to seal the victory.
Austin Stueck, who had nine points in the game, was named the most valuable player of the tournament. Singh joined Stueck on the All Tournament team. The Raiders (7-4) return to action on Jan. 5, when they travel to Hancock Michigan to face Finlandia. Game time set for 3pm.
