Five Men’s Soccer Players Named to All Conference Squad

MSOE men’s soccer team was honored with five student-athletes named to the Northern Athletics Conference team. MSOE senior forward Jordan Werner was named the Offensive Player of the Year, while teammate Logan Andryk, was named the Freshman of the Year. Patrick Gathof was named to the second team and Drew Porter was named as an honorable mention selection. Andryk and Michael Skow were chosen to the NAC All Freshman team.
#12, Jordan Werner (Bolingbrook, Ill./Marian Catholic High School), returning to play after a year off as part of the MSOE exchange program, is leading the conference in goals and points with 23 and 55, respectively. Those numbers translated into single season MSOE records for Werner. His nine assists on the season also ties a school record. Nationally, Werner is second in total points (55), second in total goals (23), third in points per game (2.89), fifth in goals per game (1.21), 21st in total assists (9) and 39th in the nation with 0.47 assists per game.
#15, Logan Andryk (Hartland, Wis./Marquette) has made a great impact on the MSOE offense in just his first season as a Raider, scoring 13 goals, 9 assists and 35 points for the season. He is also rank among the NCAA leaders in several categories; total assists (21st, 9), total points (27th, 35) points per game (36th, 1.84), assists per game (39th, 0.47) total goals (40th, 13) and 74th in the nation, averaging 0.68 goals per game.
Werner and Andryk are both ALL-NAC First Team selections.
#10 Junior Midfielder Patrick Gathof (Beloit, Wis./Beloit Memorial) started in all 19 games played this season, scoring six goals and five assists. He was an ALL NAC second team selection in 2011.
#7 Junior Midfielder Drew Porter (Milwaukee, Wis./Dominican HS) Started in all 20 games played, had four goals, six assists
#19 Michael Skow, Defender(Mequon, Wis. /Homestead HS) Started in all20 games played, had 2 goals on the season.
The Raiders finished the season 14-5-1, setting the school record for most wins in a season.
