MSOE wrestling defeats Lakeland 27-15 in conference dual

The Raiders took down Lakeland 27-15 at the Kern Center in a Northern Wrestling Conference dual Friday night. MSOE is now 7-5 overall this season in duals.
Senior Jake Narveson pinned Joel Frias at the 1:33 mark of their bout at 141 pounds. At 285 pounds, sophomore Austin Karls won by technical fall against Thomas Phalin at 3:53. Sophomore Marcus Rokosh got the win at 197 pounds by major decision over Vincent Cardarelle 12-1. Junior Austin Binish (133 pounds) won by a 1-0 decision against Eduardo Oriheula while sophomore Dallas Schurg (157 pounds) garnered a 8-3 decison over Brent Steudel.
The Raiders will host Concordia-Wisconsin Friday, Feb. 10 in Milwaukee.
