MSOE wrestling takes out Concordia-Wisconsin 27-16 in conference dual


In their final Northern Wrestling Conference dual of the season, the Raiders beat Concordia-Wisconsin 27-16 Friday night in Milwaukee at the Kern Center. 

At 149 pounds, senior Jake Narveson pinned Ricky Burns in 1:11. Sophomore Dallas Schurg won by a 16-4 decision against Tim Grimm at 157 pounds.

Freshman Peter Koostra garnered a 9-2 decision over Casey Kenealy at 165 pounds for his 20th win on the year. In the 184-pound weight class, junior Caleb Staub defeated Jordan Semvolos with an 18-3 decision. Staub now has 20 wins as well. At 285 pounds, sophomore Austin Karls logged a 9-2 decision against Shane Brandl for his 22nd win.

Next up for MSOE is the NWC Tournament Saturday, Feb. 18 which is hosted by Lakeland in Sheboygan, Wis.
