Cayo earns NAC weekly nod

Senior center Carol Cayo was named the Northern Athletics Conference Student-Athlete of the Week for her performance during the past week of action. Cayo had two double-doubles on the week and grabbed her 1,000th career rebound in a win over Rockford last Tuesday. She became the first NAC player in either men's or women's basketball to reach that mark.
Cayo put in 22 points and had 12 rebounds in the 53-41 victory against the Regents. She had 19 points and 16 rebounds against Concordia-Wisconsin Saturday.
The Raiders (9-5, 6-2 NAC) face Concordia-Chicago Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Kern Center.
