MSOE men's basketball moves to 5-1 in NAC play

Junior forward Victor Bande and senior guard Cynerick Osinaike each scored 13 points and the Raiders picked up another Northern Athletics Conference victory Wednesday night as they beat Concordia-Chicago 70-59 at the Kern Center in Milwaukee.
Other players in double figures for MSOE were senior guard Oren Bloom (11 points) and sophomore guard John Cording (ten points). Bloom also pulled down five rebounds while Osinaike dished out seven assists on the night. Sophomore center Jaren Singh put in nine points while senior forward Michael Ricciardi had eight points and five rebounds.
The Raiders shot 50% from the field for the game while the Cougars shot 36%. Concordia-Chicago pulled within five points with 6:41 left in the game but MSOE then went on a 10-0 to extend their lead to 60-45 with 3:27 remaining. The Cougars would not get within single digits for the rest of the game.
MSOE (7-7, 5-1 NAC) heads to Mequon, Wis. to face Concordia-Wisconsin Saturday at 4:15 p.m.
