Down in the second half 1-0, the Raiders Kate Hermann crossed a perfect corner kick to Allison Zimont in front of the goal mouth, getting the score and tying the game. Less than a minute later, another Hermann corner kick found its way to teammate Natalie Gayner securing the game winning goal in the 53rd minute of play. Paula Bohl added a goal in the 68th minute of play followed by a Cate Liddiard goal with just three minutes remaining in the game.
The win breaks the Raiders three game losing streak as they head to Hart Park in Wauwatosa Saturday for a home game against Alverno College for rights to own the Red Rivalry cup for another season. Last year, The Raiders won the inaugural travelling trophy. Saturday's game is slated for a 3:30pm start.
