MSOE men's soccer falls in NAC title game to Dominican


The Raiders were knocked off by Dominican 4-0 Saturday afternoon in the title game of the Northern Athletics Conference men's soccer tournament in River Forest, Ill. The Stars now advance to the NCAA Division III Championship tournament. MSOE finishes the season with a record of 12-8-1.

The lone goal of the first half was scored by Lio Tovar in the 42nd minute. Ryan Roberts, Edwin Lagunas and Logan Marvin scored Dominican's goals in the second half. Freshman goalkeeper Garrett Farin made four saves for the Raiders. MSOE was outshot 16-10 on the day. Sophomore Patrick Gathof and junior Brad Meissner each had two shots on goal for the Raiders. 

The Stars have won the NAC title every season since the founding of the conference in 2006.
