Raiders drop final game in Bahamas

The MSOE women's basketball team fell to Goucher 48-34 Wednesday afternoon in the Bahamas Sunshine Shootout. Senior center Carol Cayo scored eight points and grabbed 12 rebounds in the contest. Cayo was named to the All-Tournament Team for the event.
The Raiders struggled to score without the services of their starting point guard senior Marguerite Wellstein who was injured in the prior game. Sophomore forward Shannon Larson and freshman forward Bre'Ana Strong each put in six points for MSOE. Larson and Strong each had seven rebounds as well.
The Raiders (6-4) face Finlandia at the Kern Center Friday, Dec. 30 at 6 p.m. for another non-conference game.
