Raiders upend Edgewood 64-59

Senior guard Oren Bloom and junior forward Victor Bande each had 11 points as MSOE men's basketball knocked off Edgewood 64-59 in Milwaukee in Northern Athletics Conference play.
Bande hit a three-pointer with 4:42 left in the game to give the Raiders a 54-52 lead. MSOE would not trail again in the contest. The Raiders outscored the Eagles 39-30 in the second half. Edgewood shot 35% from the field in the final 20 minutes.
Off the bench, freshman forward Bob Slovensky put in nine points and grabbed five rebounds. Sophomore guard John Cording had eight points and five rebounds while senior guard Cynerick Osinaike recorded nine points and pulled down four rebounds.
MSOE (6-7, 4-1 NAC) hosts Concordia-Chicago Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Kern Center.
