No. 12 MSOE hockey blanks Lake Forest 4-0

Senior goalie Connor Toomey made 33 saves and junior forward Jordan Keizer recorded three points as No. 12 MSOE shut out Lake Forest 4-0 Friday night in Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association action down in Illinois. Toomey now has nine shutouts in his Raider career which is a new MSOE record.
Freshman forward Cole Gibson put MSOE on top with 32 seconds left in the first period. That goal was set up by Jordan Keizer. In the second period, sophomore defenseman Michael Thompson netted a power play goal at the 3:37 mark from Jordan Keizer. Then it was freshman forward Josh Keizer from sophomore defenseman Michael Schenfeld at 13:33 of the period.
Jordan Keizer finished the scoring in the third period with his sixth short-handed goal on the year. No one else in the country has more than three short-handed goals this season. Josh Keizer logged the assist on that goal.
Saturday night, the Raiders (16-5-1, 13-3-1 MCHA) host the Foresters at 7:05 p.m. for Senior Night.
