MSOE women's basketball takes non-conference contest against Finlandia

Senior center Carol Cayo scored 21 points and senior guard Kathleen Collingbourne knocked down four three-pointers in the second half as the Raiders beat Finlandia 59-41 Friday night at the Kern Center. Freshman forward Bre'Ana Strong added ten points off the bench.
Cayo also pulled down seven rebounds, blocked four shots, recorded four assists and had three steals. Sophomore forward Shannon Larson led all players with nine rebounds. MSOE held the Lions to just 12 points in the first half. The Raiders never trailed in the game and held a double-digit lead for the entire second half.
MSOE (7-4, 4-1 NAC) restarts NAC play Saturday, Jan. 7 against Edgewood at 2 p.m. in Milwaukee.
