Raiders get past Finlandia in three sets

The MSOE women's volleyball team knocked off Finlandia 3-0 (25-10, 25-20, 25-16) at the Kern Center in Milwaukee Saturday. The Raiders were defeated by Augustana in four sets and by Lawrence in three sets.
Against the Lions, junior Stephanie Hasler filled up the stat sheet as she recorded six kills, six digs, six service aces and five assists. Senior Kathleen Collingbourne led MSOE with 14 digs while senior Kaylie Lenz paced the squad with eight kills. Freshman setter Martha Savory logged 27 assists and freshman Ali LoBue was in double figures with ten digs.
In the match with Augustana, Hasler nearly had a double double with ten kills and nine digs. Collingbourne recorded 21 digs. The Raiders had four players with double digit digs against Lawrence including Hasler (17), Collingbourne (16), LoBue (11) and Savory (10). Hasler and junior Julie Windish each had seven kills in that match.
MSOE (6-11, 0-2 NAC) resume NAC action Tuesday at the Kern Center against Concordia-Chicago.
