Raiders move on to NAC Final after 2-0 victory over Concordia-Wisconsin

Senior Dan Hosko and junior Mat Braden found the back of the net as the MSOE men's soccer team defeated Concordia-Wisconsin 2-0 Tuesday afternoon in the semifinals of the Northern Athletics Conference Tournament in Mequon, Wis. The Raiders will face Dominican Saturday in the final of the NAC Tournament to determine the conference's automatic qualifier for the NCAA Championship tournament.
Both goals in the game came in the first half with Braden giving the Raiders the lead for good in the 29th minute. His first goal of the season was unassisted. Hosko made it 2-0 MSOE at the 34:58 mark of the game with his 11th goal on the year. Junior Brad Meissner set up that tally for the Raiders (12-7-1). Freshman goalkeeper Garrett Farin made six saves to record his third shutout of 2011.
Saturday's game against the Stars will begin at 1 p.m. in River Forest, Ill. The same two teams met two years ago in the championship which was won by Dominican 1-0.
