Jordan Keizer nets game-winner as No. 11 MSOE hockey takes down Hamline 2-1


Junior forward Jordan Keizer scored with less than four minutes left in the game as the No. 11 Raiders beat Hamline 2-1 Friday night at the Kern Center in non-conference action. Senior goaltender Connor Toomey made 25 saves in the victory for MSOE.

The Pipers struck first with a goal in the second period from Cameron Stowers. The Raiders tied the game in the third at the 6:39 mark when junior forward Bradley Tierney found the back of the net. His goal was set up by Jordan Keizer and freshman defenseman Logan Bauman who also assisted on the game-winning goal later in the period. 

Both teams had plenty of chances on the power play but combined to go 0-11 on the night with an advantage. MSOE outshout Hamline 30-26.

The Raiders (10-3, 7-1 MCHA) are off until Friday, Jan. 13 when restart MCHA play against Marian in Milwaukee.
