Gaeth takes second at Knox as MSOE wrestling begins season

The MSOE wrestling team opened up their season Saturday at the Knox Invitational in Galesburg, Ill. Freshman Luke Gaeth was the Raiders' top finisher as he placed second at 125 pounds. Gaeth won three of four bouts.
In the 133-pound weight class, junior Austin Binish came in fourth place while freshman Justin Wolfenden finished sixth. Binish won four matches (4-2). At 285 pounds, sophomore Austin Karls was fourth and had a record of 3-2 at the tournament.
Senior Jake Narveson (3-2) was fifth at 149 pounds while junior Matthew Ostovich took sixth at 141 pounds. Ostovich took four of the seven matches he wrestled.
MSOE will take part in the Concordia Open Saturday, Nov. 18 in Mequon, Wis.
