Men's Soccer ninth in NSCAA Central Region Poll

In the October 23 edition of the NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division III Coaches Poll, The MSOE Raiders moved up the regional rankings one spot to ninth in the central region, remaining in the poll for the third consecutive week.

MSOE (13-4 8-2 Northern Athletics Conference) went 2-0 for the week, a 6-2 win over Lakeland and a 5-0 rout to Benedictine University.

In the Lakeland win, MSOE had goals from six different scorers to pace the Raiders to an easy 6-2 over the Lakeland Muskies in a Tuesday afternoon tilt. The Raiders outshot the Muskies 21-8 for the game. 

In the 5-0 defeat of Benedictine, Jordan Werner collected his third hat trick of the season. Micheal Skow and Daniel Frey rounded out the scoring for MSOE.

The Raiders travel to Mequon Wis. to face Concordia-Wisconsin on Wednesday, October 25 at 3:00p.m in a match that could decide the second place seed in the Northern Athletics Conference Tournament.
