Senior center Carol Cayo recorded her 15th double-double of the season as MSOE women's basketball defeated Lakeland 60-53 Saturday afternoon the Northern Athletics Conference Challenge. The victory gives the Raiders the No. 3 seed in the NAC Tournament. MSOE (16-9) will host Concordia-Chicago Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the quarterfinals.
Cayo put in 16 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, dished out six assists and blocked three shots. The other four Raider starters, senior guards Kathleen Collingbourne and Marguerite Wellstein, junior forward Cate Scholfield and sophomore forward Shannon Larson, each had eight points.
