MSOE men's volleyball topples St. Xavier

The MSOE men's volleyball team defeated St. Xavier University 25-17, 25-20, 25-23 to bring their record to .500 on the year. The Raiders were led by senior opposite Max Martin with a season-high 17 kills and a .467 hitting percentage. Martin added three services aces, four digs and three block assists and a total of 21.5 points for the match.
Martin had help from freshman outside hitter Nick Manning and junior middle hitter Jack Geary, who added eight and seven kills, respectively. Sophomore setter Matt Morrone added 32 assists on the night. Junior libero John Cote led the Raiders with ten digs for the match.The Raiders (3-3) are off through finals week and return to action Saturday, Feb. 25 at the Mount St. Joseph Invitational.
