Milwaukee -- A tough fought high-scoring affair ended in a Lake Forest College victory in overtime against the MSOE Hockey team Saturday night in the first game of the MCHA Tournament First Round two-game series. The Raiders trailed 3-1 in the second period when they logged four goals in that period to take a 5-4 into the third period. MSOE went up 6-4 early in the third after the second goal of the game by freshman Sean McGaughy. Sophomore Ryno Linder and freshman Bradley Tierney also both scored twice for the Raiders. Sophomore Todd Krupa and senior Michael Johnson each tallied two assists. The same two teams will play Sunday afternoon at the Kern Center at 4:00 p.m. If the Raiders win, the game will be followed by a 20-minute mini-game to decide who gets the final spot in next weekend's MCHA Harris Cup Four in Adrian, Michigan. |
