With just under a minute remaining in the game, MSOE capitalized on a blocked shot by Edgewood’s goalkeeper Matt Dammen, who deflected the ball, but the Raiders Brock Schilling was there to bury the rebounded ball into the net and claim the victory for the Raiders.
MSOE outshot the Edgewood Eagles 9-2 in the first half, a total of 16-6 for the game. In the second half, the Raiders had six shots on goal wtith the final shot coming off Schilling's foot for the only and game winning goal.
MSOE now 11-3 on the season and 6-1 in the Northern Athletic Conference face the first place and undefeated Dominican University Stars in a Saturday night contest at Time Warner Stadium in Milwaukee, Wis. Game time is slated for 7:15p.m. |
