Milwaukee, Wis. - The Adrian College Bulldogs were too much for the MSOE Raiders hockey team on Friday night at the Kern Center as Adrian beat the Raiders 7-4. The Bulldogs came into the game ranked 10th in the USCHO.com/CSTV Division III Poll.

The Raiders tied the game at 1 in the first period when sophomore Reid Crawford scored at the 13:08 mark of the period. Adrian scored two goals in the final two minutes of the first period to go up 3-1 going into the first intermission. Senior Blair Hanberg (Edmonds, WA/Edmonds Woodway) bought MSOE within one goal at the 8:56 mark of the second period but that would be the closest the Raiders would get for the rest of the night. Adrian scored the next three goals in the game.

MSOE scored their final two goals in the third period. Senior Jason Woll (Portland, OR/Edmonds Woodway) and junior Mike Marquette (Fairbanks, AK) picked up those goals for the Raiders. Senior Lee Swallow (Stanwood, MI/Northville) and freshman Michael Soik (Stevens Point, WI/SPASH) each had two assists in the game for MSOE.

Freshmen goaltender Michael Wyenn (Thousand Oaks, CA/Westlake) made 26 saves for MSOE on the night.

The Raiders fell to 10-7 in MCHA play and 12-10 overall. Adrian improves to 19-3 overall and 16-1 in MCHA games. The Bulldogs were lead by Jeremy Klaver and Adam Krug who each scored two goals. Brad Fogal started the game in net for Adrian and got the win by making 17 saves.

MSOE will face Adrian again on Saturday, February 9 at the Kern Center at 2 p.m.
