MSOE Hockey Falls to St. Norbert 6-0
Milwaukee, Wis. - The St. Norbert College Green Knights proved why they are ranked number in the country by beating the MSOE Raiders hockey team 6-0 Friday night at the Kern Center.
The Raiders were out shot by St. Norbert 43-16 on the night. The Green Knights were 3-6 on power plays for the game.
MSOE falls to 7-5 overall on the season and the Green Knights improve to 12-1-1. Shane Wheeler scored two goals and had an assist to lead St. Norbert. Matt Boyd picked up a goal and two assists while goaltender Kyle Jones had 16 saves to pick up the shutout for the Green Knights.
Freshman Chris Keller (Amherst, NY/Williamsville North) had 37 saves for the Raiders in the loss.
The Raiders are back in action on Saturday, January 5 at 7 p.m. when travel up to Green Bay, WI to once again take on St. Norbert in a non-conference game.
