Smiddy's hat trick leads Raider's win
Ashland, Wis. - From first to third period MSOE's Stephen Smiddy scored in all three stanzas, leading MSOE to an easy 8-2 victory over Northland in a MCHA game. Smiddy was not the only multiple goal scorers for the Raiders as freshman Micheal Soik had two goals on the night. MSOE took double the shots than host Northland, outshooting them 48-19 over the three period span. Chris Keller comes away with 17 saves and the Raider win. MSOE continues it's road stand in Ashland, facing Northland in a Saturday 4 p.m. matinee. |
