Wrestling lands two runner-ups at MSOE Invitational On Saturday, December 1 at the MSOE Invitational, the Raiders placed two wrestlers in the finals as the team went on to finish eighth of the eleven teams participating. Nick Miceli (Port Jefferson, N.Y./ Earl L. Vandermeulen High School) and Matt Ostovich (Greenfield, Wis./ Greenfield HS) both lost in the championship bouts, at 133# and 141#, respectively. MSOE fared well in the lightweight divisions with the majority of their place winners coming between 133-149 weight classes. Other Raider medalists include 133# Luke Gaeth (Libertyville, Ill.) and 149# Dallas Shrug (Crown Point, Ind.) who placed third overall; Austin Binish (Sturgeon Bay, Wis.) placing fifth at 133#. Central ran away with the tournament, scoring 156.5 points to win the title. The University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh were in second with 98 points and Concordia-Wisconsin (97.5) in third overall.
