Raiders Lose to Illinois Wesleyan Bloomington, Ill. – The MSOE Raiders women’s soccer team lost 5-0 to a powerful Illinois Wesleyan team. Illinois scored three in the first half and two in the second. Coach Rolf Zersen was thoughtful about the team’s string of defeats. “We played a very good team today. We played better than yesterday, but they were just plain good. At the same time we have to play better as a team and play more consistent.” The Raiders are now 5-6-1 and 2-4 in the Northern Athletics Conference (NAC). The Raiders will try to bounce back when they play Maranatha Baptist this Thursday at 5:00 pm, at Time Warner Cable Field. |
