MSOE handles Caltech Milwaukee, Wis. – Freshmen led the way in the MSOE Raiders 81-50 victory over Caltech in the second game of the All Engineers Classic, held in Milwaukee, Wis. Forward Austin Stueck (South Milwaukee, Wis./South Milwaukee) had 15 points while Connor Patterson (Gilbert, Ariz. /Gilbert Christian) added 13 on the night. Leading scorer for Caltech was Pan Wang (Germantown, Md./Montgomery Blair HS ), scoring 14 in the Beaver’s loss. MSOE outdistanced Caltech 44-23 in the first half on 55% shooting compared to the Beaver’s 28% shooting. MSOE shot 56% for the game, while Caltech was 30.6% on the game. MSOE (1-0) advances to the Tournament final Sunday 3pm facing Rose Hulman at 3pm. Caltech (0-1) faces RPI at 1pm. |
