Men's Volleyball honors seniors before loss to Stritch
Before they took the court Tuesday night for the final time at the Kern Center, five MSOE men's volleyball seniors were honored in a ceremony where family and friends joined the players to celebrate their accomplishments and achievements. MSOE went on to lose the match to Cardinal Stritch in straight sets.

Men's Volleyball loses CVC opener to UC Santa Cruz
MSOE fought back to win the second set after dropping the first, but ultimately ran out of steam and lost its 2013 Continental Volleyball Conference opener to UC Santa Cruz in four sets Thursday night. The match was the first of seven to be held as part of the CVC West Division Challenge this weekend at the Kern Center.

The MSOE men's volleyball team defeated St. Xavier University 25-17, 25-20, 25-23 to bring their record to .500 on the year. The Raiders were led by senior opposite Max Martin with a season-high 17 kills and a .467 hitting percentage. Martin added three services aces, four digs and three block assists and a total of 21.5 points for the match.

MSOE men's volleyball season preview
The Raiders are looking at facing new challenges as they make the move to the new Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC) and a shot at the automatic bid to the first NCAA Division III Championship for men's volleyball. The CVC is comprised of ten teams from across the nation, as the Raiders will play in the West Division.
