Westerville, Ohio – Jaren Singh had 12 points and five rebounds leading the Raiders to a 52-44 victory over Trine University in the championship game of the Smokey Ballenger Tournament.

12.29.2012 :: Mens Basketball drops Otterbein in overtime, advances to Ballenger Championship
Westerville, Ohio --The MSOE men’s basketball team surprised host Otterbein, taking the win in overtime 79-77 in the first round of the Smokey Ballenger Tournament. MSOE freshman Austin Stueck led all scorers with 22 points and was 4-for-8 from beyond the three point arc.

Up by two with five seconds left, John Cording knocked a dribble away from Beloit College's Ahmad Shamsid-Deen and into the hands of Austin Stueck to secure what became a 56-52 win for the men's basketball team Thursday night at the Kern Center.

John Cording (Jr./Menomonee Falls, Wis./BM) had 16 points and Victor Bande (Sr./Madrid, Spain/IE) had 15 as the MSOE men's basketball team won its third-straight game, beating Wisconsin Lutheran, 69-55, Saturday night at the Kern Center.

11.17.2012 :: MSOE host the 5th All Engineers Classic Nov. 17-18
The brightest young engineering minds our universities has to offer, takes the construction to the hardwood today as the MSOE men’s basketball team will host the fifth All-Engineers Classic Saturday, Nov. 17 and Sunday, Nov. 18 at the Kern Center, 1245 N. Broadway. The tournament will feature four of the nation’s most prominent engineering and technological institutions underneath one roof.

02.18.2012 :: Glowniak's career-high 17 points help Raiders finish season with victory
Freshman guard Garrison Glowniak's two free throws with two seconds left put the Raiders up by three against Wisconsin Lutheran and MSOE would hang on to win 73-70 in the Northern Athletics Conference Challenge Saturday afternoon in Milwaukee, Wis. Glowniak scored a career-high 17 points in the contest.

02.14.2012 :: Raiders fall on Senior Night to Dominican
MSOE men's basketball dropped their final conference game of the season against Dominican 62-60 Tuesday night at the Kern Center. The contest was tied 13 times and had eight lead changes. Senior guard Oren Bloom led the Raiders with 16 points on Senior Night.

Senior guard Oren Bloom scored a career-high 22 points but the MSOE men's basketball fell to Concordia-Chicago 66-54 Saturday in River Forest, Ill. Bloom also led the Raiders with eight rebounds in the Northern Athletics Conference contest.

In a battle between two teams from the Northern Athletics Conference South Division, Rockford defeated MSOE men's basketball 59-54 Wednesday night at the Kern Center. Junior forward Victor Bande scored 14 of his 19 points in the first half.

MSOE senior guard Cynerick Osinaike knocked down a shot with 47 seconds left to beat Dominican 57-55 Thursday night in Northern Athletics Conference action. Sophomore John Cording put in 14 points for the Raiders and also grabbed five rebounds, dished out four assists and recorded four steals.

12.13.2011 :: Cording named to D3hoops.com Team of the Week
For his performance during the past week, sophomore guard John Cording was named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week. Cording had career-high scoring marks in back-to-back games against Aurora and Marian. MSOE went 2-0 last week to improve their Northern Athletics Conference record to 3-1.

Senior guard Oren Bloom scored 20 points as the MSOE men's basketball team knocked off Maranatha Baptist 61-47 Saturday night at the Kern Center in Northern Athletics Conference action. The Raiders did not trail in the game as they grabbed the lead with an early three-pointer from Bloom and did not lose it for the rest of the game.

The MSOE men's basketball fell to Westminster (Mo.) 54-46 Saturday at the Kern Center in Milwaukee. In the non-confernence matchup, the Raiders were led by senior guard Oren Bloom who had 11 points.

The Raiders were defeated by St. Norbert 80-36 Tuesday night in De Pere, Wis. Senior guard Oren Bloom led MSOE with eight points and also grabbed five rebounds. Sophomore forward Jaren Singh put in six points off the bench.

With four players in double figures, the Raiders beat North Central University 74-56 in the third place game of the Northwestern Tip-Off Tournament Saturday in St. Paul, Minn. Senior Michael Ricciardi was named to the All-Tournament Team.

The MSOE men's basketball team was knocked off by Nebraska Wesleyan 51-42 Friday in the Northwestern Tip-Off Tournament in St. Paul, Minn. The Raiders were led by senior guard Oren Bloom who had 11 points in the team's first game of the year. Senior forward Michael Ricciardi scored nine points and pulled down nine rebounds.
