Women’s Soccer Players Net All Conference Honors
The MSOE women’s soccer team, had a total of five student-athletes garner conference awards, announced by the Northern Athletics Conference today. Leading the way on the first team was junior forward Paula Bohl and senior goalkeeper Emma Lumpe.

Milwaukee, Wis. – After a 3-1 victory over the number 15 ranked team in the country, Augustana, the Raiders were poised for another tough opponent, the 8-2 Concordia Falcons. The beginning of the contest was promising for MSOE, when in the opening seconds Paula Bohl (Muskego, Wis. / Muskego H.S.) found herself free in the Concordia penalty box.

Rock Island, Ill. -- The MSOE women’s soccer team came away with the biggest win in the program’s history: a 2-1 upset of nationally ranked Augustana Vikings. The Vikings were ranked 15th in the most recent NSCAA/Continental Tire poll. This is also their first win over a nationally ranked team.

Milwaukee, Wis. - In the opening minutes of the non-conference contest between the Carthage Lady Red and MSOE Raiders, MSOE forward Paula Bohl (Muskego, Wis. / Muskego H.S.) received a nifty pass from Caitlin Liddiard (Waukesha, Wis. / Waukesha South). Axt named to NSCAA All-Central Region Second Team
Senior forward Jessica Axt was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) NCAA Division III All-Central Region Second Team. Axt tied for first in the nation in total goals with 28 for the season. She is the first MSOE student-athlete to lead the NCAA in scoring in any sport.

Senior forward Jessica Axt was named Northern Athletics Conference Offensive Player of the Year for her outstanding performance during the 2011 women's soccer season. Axt was also named First Team All-NAC. Jamie Janczak and sophomore forward Paula Bohl were selected Second Team All-NAC. Junior goalie Emma Lumpe earned Honorable Mention status from the conference. Freshmen Shelby Struble and Gabbie Pung were named to the All-Freshman Team. Sophomore Allison Zimont was chosen to the All-Sportsmanship Team.

Senior Jessica Axt scored four goals as the MSOE women's soccer team shut out Maranatha Baptist 9-0 in a Northern Athletics Conference match Tuesday in Watertown, Wis. Axt now has 23 goals this season which breaks the MSOE single season record for goals which was set by sophomore Paula Bohl last season who had 22.

Axt scores twice as Raiders beat Webster
Senior Jessica Axt found the back of the net twice in the second half as the MSOE women's soccer team defeated Webster 2-1 Sunday afternoon in Fenton, Mo. Axt scored at 47:15 mark of the game and then made it 2-0 on a pass from freshman Gabbie Pung just over 13 minutes later.

Senior Jessica Axt found the back of the net twice in the second half as the MSOE women's soccer team defeated Webster 2-1 Sunday afternoon in Fenton, Mo. Axt scored at 47:15 mark of the game and then made it 2-0 on a pass from freshman Gabbie Pung just over 13 minutes later.

MSOE picked to finish fourth in NAC women's soccer preseason coaches' poll
The Raiders have been selected to finish fourth in the Northern Athletics Conference according to the 2011 women's soccer preseason coaches' poll. MSOE received one first-place vote and 132 total votes.

2011 MSOE women's soccer preview
Eight seniors will ensure that the MSOE women's soccer team will have plenty of experience and leadership in 2011. The Raiders are coming off a school best 8-2-2 record in Northern Athletics Conference action. MSOE was 11-7-2 overall last year including a six-match winning streak during September.
