Men's Golf wins NAC title; qualifies for NCAA Championship
Led by tournament champion Scott Loftus, MSOE won the 2013 Northern Athletic Conference Men's Golf Tournament yesterday at Stonebridge Country Club in Aurora, Ill. and qualified for the NCAA Division III Men’s Golf Championship.

Norman, Okla. -- The MSOE men’s golf team was one of 26 NCAA Division III institutions in receiving the All Academic Team award from the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).

Zachman in first after second round of NAC Championship
Senior Dane Zachman stands in first place after the second round of the Northern Athletics Conference Championship for men's golf. The Raiders are in second as a team behind Edgewood. The final two rounds to determine the NAC Champion and the conference's automatic qualifier for the NCAA Championships will take place in April.

Raiders on top after first day of NAC Championship
The MSOE men's golf team stands in first place after the first day of the Northern Athletics Conference Championship at Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wis. Senior Dane Zachman leads all golfers after he carded a 74 on Sunday. Freshman Colin Winistorfer is two strokes behind Zachman in second place.

Zachman named NAC Student-Athlete of the Week
Senior Dane Zachman has been selected as the Northern Athletics Conference's Student-Athlete of the Week for men's golf. Zachman carded an even-par 72 at the Benedictine Invitational Sunday to place second at the event.

The MSOE men's golf team finished sixth at the Benedictine Invite Sunday in West Chicago, Ill. at St. Andrew Golf and C.C. Senior Dane Zachman placed second at the event as he was one stroke off the top finisher. Zachman carded an even-par 72 on the day.

MSOE's men golf finishes eighth at Carthage
The Raiders placed eighth at the Carthage Fall Invitational Monday in Kenosha, Wis. at Strawberry Creek. MSOE's top finisher was freshman Colin Winistorfer who tied for eighth as he carded an eight-over 152 for the two rounds.

Expectations continue to be high for the MSOE men's golf team as they attempt to the make the NCAA Championship for the second straight season and the third time in four years. The Northern Athletics Conference men's golf coaches picked the Raiders to win this year's title.

Raiders selected to win NAC men's golf title
The MSOE men's golf has been picked to win the Northern Athletics Conference title according to the 2011 preseason coaches' poll. The Raiders received five first-place and 93 total points while Edgewood received 92 points in the poll for second.

MSOE men's golf earns All-Academic status
For the second straight season, the MSOE men's golf team has received All-Academic Team recognition for the 2010-11 season from the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). Teams that garner this honor have team GPAs of 3.0 or better.
