            <description>The MSOE rowing team competed in the 47th Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston this weekend. The event included teams from all over the globe. The Raiders finished eighth of 22 boats in the lightweight fours event. MSOE was 16th out of 39 teams in the collegiate fours race.</description>

            <description>Philadelphia--The MSOE rowing team won the BRENDAN LYNCH CUP at the showcase college rowing event in the nation: the Dad Vail Regatta, held Saturday, May 9, on Philadelphia&#146;s Schuylkill River. The MSOE Raiders&#146; Frosh/Novice Lightweight eight crew upset local favorite Delaware and top programs from Georgia Tech and Penn State on their way to an &#147;Open Water&#148; victory. This was the first national victory for MSOE&#146;s second year program.</description>

            <description>The Raiders had a very solid Sunday at the Tail of the Fox Regatta in DePere, Wis. by winning four races. MSOE won the varsity open eight race with a time of 12:58.39. On that boat was coxswain Rachel Connon, stroke seat Zach Parsons, seven seat Ben Lang, six seat Luke Engebretson, five seat Dave Taylor, four seat Curt Albrecht, three seat Ed Adams, two seat Ryan Lowery and bow seat Mike Cerny.</description>

            <description>The Raiders took part in the Heart of Texas Regatta this past Saturday in Austin, Texas. Despite high winds, rain and lightning. The novice 8+ placed second at the event. The boat moved within a half a length of open water behind the winner. They had a time of 3:31.64. The varsity 4+ was also second at 3:23.64.</description>
