I have the opportunity to participate as a book discussion leader in the Great Books Dinner and Discussion Series. Every year, those of us who serve as discussion leaders get together and decide what books we'll discuss in the upcoming year. Our next meeting is this Thursday, and I have 2 books to recommend:

I want to discuss Kundera because of his novel's ability to move forward and backward in time, and I want to discuss Ozeki's novel because of its Pacific Rim flavor.

I have until Thursday to decide if these are the books I want to go with. Until then, I'm open for suggestions, so let me know if you think I should present some other books.
