Last night, I was fitted for my mountain bike using the Guru F.I.S.T. fitting system. I'm going to get serious about mountain biking this year and will hopefully participate in about half of the Wisconsin Endurance Mountain bike Series events. Getting a good fit is an important part of having a good bike, and I've been riding my mountain bike for 2 years without a proper fitting. Now that I want to get into endurance off-road cycling, I have to be efficient with the energy transfer from legs to pedals.

Check out the video of Phil fitting me for the bike. Notice how the computer uses lasers to capture my body's geometry as it applies to the geometry of the bike.

Here's Phil at Wheel and Sprocket in Fox Point, setting up the fitting machine.
