When I became the Chair for Servant-Leadership, the Grohmann Museum generously provided my office with a painting from their collection--a work by the artist Jeff LaDow. I was sad to find out last Friday that Jeff recently passed away (you can read the article from the Journal Sentinal here: Jeffrey LaDow - Paralyzed artist Jeffrey LaDow never lost his inner daredevil). Jeff was a great artist. Paralyzed at the age of 18, Jeff became a mouth painter--he created works of art by painting with a brush attached to a wand that he held between his teeth. The work hanging in my office (CC 385) is titled "The Cobblestone Farm." Come by my office and check it out.
