In 2004, MSOE established the Pieper Family Endowed Chair for Servant-Leadership, thanks to a major gift from the Suzanne and Richard Pieper Family Foundation. DeAnna Leitzke, PE currently holds the Pieper Family Endowed Chair for Servant-Leadership. She is responsible for helping integrate this leadership philosophy throughout the social fabric and culture of the university. The endowment helps fund projects that enable our students to integrate what they learn in the classroom while practicing the Principles of Servant-Leadership to serve the Milwaukee community and beyond. Servant-leaders have a fundamental commitment to serving others with integrity and humility while encouraging excellence and growth in those whom they lead.

Servant-Leadership at MSOE is committed to supporting and nurturing the growth of all students, as they grow as Servant-Leaders. If you would like to learn more about existing projects, please visit our Servant-Leadership Group page. If you have an idea for a new project or activity, please contact the Office of Servant-Leadership at (414) 277-7373 or contact DeAnna Lietzke via email.
