Dawn Thibedeau, CPA, has been appointed the vice president of finance and chief financial officer at Milwaukee School of Engineering effective June 17. She succeeds Armund Janto, who retired after 13 years of service to the university.
Thibedeau comes to MSOE with experience in accounting and financial management in non-profit and for-profit organizations, with a 15-year focus on higher education. She most recently served as the VP of finance and CFO at Lutheran Social Services. Prior to that Thibedeau was controller at UW-Milwaukee and executive director of finance at Alverno College.
Thibedeau holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Lakeland College in Sheboygan, Wis., and is a State of Wisconsin Certified Public Accountant. She also is a member of the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
