Thousands of Milwaukeeans call the downtown area their home, so you’ll find all the necessities nearby: grocery stores, banks, churches, restaurants, coffee shops, hair salons and more.

Get your groove on throughout the summer with outdoor festivals and live music within walking distance of campus: Summerfest, Jazz in the Park, Bastille Days, and all of the ethnic festivals.

Feeling artsy? Check out one of the nearby theaters that offer everything from Broadway shows and ballet to symphony and rock concerts. The Milwaukee Public Museum, Discovery World Museum, Milwaukee Art Museum are just a few of the many museums within a couple miles of campus.
